I love Sounds are Active Records in Long Beach. They have consistently put out some of the more forward thinking free jazz, electronic music and avante garde rock in recent years. Having developed a friendship with Chris Schlarb over the years I was delighted to design the cover for this split release.

Obscure shapes coming together to make a whole, that’s how I think of jazz. Well… the best jazz anyway.
